MAURO ‘El Suizo’ MUELLER is a Swiss-Mexican filmmaker and MFA graduate of Columbia University. His short A World for Raúl won a Student Academy Award, and Dear Chickens, starring Philip Baker Hall, was Oscar-qualified.

He directed the features The Janitor (2025), 111: Echoes from Halifax (2026), and A Few Days in the Sun.
He also co-directed all six episodes of the Swiss series Wilder (2022) and was the showrunner of the sitcom Our Little Embassy (2025).

Mauro has produced over ten feature films and produced The Ugly Chickens alongside George R.R. Martin.
A 2022 Sony TV Fellow, he is a co-founder of Fidelio Films and a member of AMPAS.
